:: Saturday, June 15, 2002 ::
thursday i met terie, jordan, peter and amanda for lunch, and we went to cpk on fig. JEFF was working, cleaning windows, as we came in. i guess it was his first day, which is pretty ironic. i'm glad he's working there cuz we go a lot.
after work i came home to a bunch of people! shane had come!!! yay. 9 of us went to mccormick's, and saw jose and the waitress who was on real world hawaii (the one we studied in abnormal psych during our lesson on substance abuse), and then we all came back and got our drink on. woweee. my medication sure magnifies the effects of alcohol. i had two lemon drops (i think) and a vodka tonic. and i was running around the yard w/ amanda yelling "GOAL!" and everyone had a great time. we fit nine people on our couch at one time and managed to get 20 pics of the night. i wonder what these will look like... hehe.
terie and i fell asleep on the couches while shane and amanda were at 7 11 (i fell asleep outside but jordan made me come in - i never made it upstairs!), and shane and amanda slept in the car!!! poor kids.
friday i woke up to go to work early but i called in and the boss said she didn't need me. so i hung out w/ amanda and shane and jordan and then jordan and i went to rite aid to get rope. i went to my appointment and called my sister on the way (it was my nephew's third birthday!!!) and on the way back i stopped by the coffee bean and hung out w/ some peoples there. this guy asked for my number and kept asking if i had a boyfriend.
when i got back i went shopping with terie and jordan and we even got to make a fry's-run. FUN! my room looks like a real room now, most everything is up off the floor. and my new bed is so big and full of pillows : ) after shopping we ate at marie callendar', and we had the coolest waitress, not to mention my sophomore year RA was working there! weeeeird. and he recognized me. even stranger - this marie callendar's didn't have any of the same stuff other than pies as punch-n-pie next to tar pits. well they had that good corn bread but that was it! we ate too much, and all got sleepy.
i was up til 4am watching cable tv from my bed. : )
today i met my aunt at century city mall and we saw 'the bourne identity' which was REALLY REALLY good. exciting, funny, and it had the chick from 'run lola run'! i was glad to see her again. and it made me anxious to get back to europe. anyhow, we ate and took the dog all around and hung out at the dog bakery. my ameh gave me two free amc tickets and a gift card at tower, and the whole day was a treat : ) yay for treats. i like to hang out w/ her cuz unlike my dad we can talk about stuff. she tells me about her childhood and back in iran and stuff that she is up to now, and i like to see her. her dog is a little whacky though.
my house is hot and jordan and i are hungry all the time it seems. well downstairs is cooler but i like my new room! scott p and danbaz called and wanna hang tonight. let's see if this actually works out...
at least we have cable and internet now, but terie has to hook up a hub so we can all have access in our rooms : ) mmmm internet time!

sunday - laker's won again.
monday - sit at clinic, get told i am at wrong clinic, go to westside pavilion to find roxy, hang at victoria's secret semiannual sale, appointment, dinner/comedy club at largo's w/ phu, louie, ian, clare, lore, peter, etc.
yesterday - jordan and i sat at clinic for 7 hours, i got free drugs, went to park la brea to hang w/ ebeth, then grove, maggianos, coffeebean, came back to watch neighbors beer-pong tournament (party in the yard). debate w/ gabe til 4:30am.
today - worked, payday, lakers WON WON WON, everyone went crazy. jordan threw his nets hat on the ground. lots of drama. watched some riotous behaviors. terie is taking over the computers in this lab, and we are easily amused. he took over my computer and had his way w/ me.
tomorrow - work. ?
hopefully soon we'll get ethernet.
