sunday i went to friends and family day at the banana republic. got me some fancy schmancy things. 30% off! i ran into ariel (who hooked me up w/ the discount), lore (louis' cousin), and mike, my old coffeebean co-worker! he was the other superviser at that death trap of a kiosk in the beverly center, and now he works inventory at the b.r. anyhow, good to see all. ariel gave me a peach.
i met up w/ ebeth and she helped me pick out the clothes i wanted. then we went on to the gap just to check out what we were not going to buy. and as we were coming in, drew barrymore was on her way out! she looked so cute, her hair all curled up, sunglasses, and a jean jacket. one of the few celebrities i was actually excited to have seen since moving here.
we went to the marmalade cafe (or cafe marmalade). did i mention we were at the grove? afterwards i took ebeth to feed some fishes and then back to her place just to sit and chat.
on the way home i stopped by a friend of a friend's, and picked up a little something for myself. mwahahah.
back at my dad's house, i watched life as a house (again) w/ my dad and sandy, and had chicken and asparagus. then we saw a biography special on j edgar hoover.
monday i woke up pretty late, even though i hadn't gone to sleep at such a bad hour. i watched a ton of tv again, including kids in the hall, snl, and happy texas. happy texas was pretty darn funny, especially after seeing the southern child pageant thing a few weeks ago (w/ the absolutely flaming male coach). i watched biography for raquel welch (STILL beautiful).
i went to meet shaun eventually, and we went to belmont shores for coffee bean. i love going down there, just getting out of this house.
mahmoud was here when i got home and he told me about the new house he was renting in laguna nigel, and about the soap opera star he'd seen at his friend's real estate office. she is swedish and persian. interesting. i will have to tell my grandma, a huge days of our lives fan. : P hehe.
today i woke up late again. what is wrong with me? i am sleeping 10+ hrs a night. and still tired. i've already watched vh1 driven - kid rock. hehe.

today (well YESTERDAY technically) i went to my aunt's in the valley. she took me to the salon to get my EYEBROWS done.
yeah.
it's a persian thing.
anyhow, then she got me some faloodeh and lime, and we went to see SIGNS.
i did like it, yes i did. i only got scared enough to jump twice.
so we went back to my aunt's, and she made a wonderful meal (as usual), including prawns and koobideh kabobs on the grill, baked me some cookies, and we watched the fellowship of the ring and snl. talked about ancient myth. and homosexuality. very interesting.
i can't wait til two towers comes out. and i guess soon after, x-men 2 and the remake of the last unicorn (could it be any good? or even true?). WHATEVER SHALL I DO, i will be so busy daydreaming about my superpowers that i will not get any work done next year.
i just finished watching x-men and now i'm watching american pie 2. i wish i could go to sleep. grrr. hehe.
if i can track my dad's friend down - he owes my dad $$$ - then i get to keep it! i have an idea on how to finangle this, and then i will be $1500 richer.
i wish.
