i LOVE the new floetry video for 'floetic.' you can try to check it out. it's not my favorite song, but the video is visually amazing to me. maybe one of the best since 'black hole sun,' in my opinion. i also like the white stripes video for 'dead leaves and the dirty ground.' they have that video online too, try this link.
i had a psych: motivated behaviors exam on thursday, and somehow did pretty well i think. i did have two blank questions argh.
and last night, jake and i went to the westside pavillion after simpsons/just shoot me.
wait let me vent on that. they show FRIENDS like three times a day, and cut out the 11:30 airing of just shoot me reruns. I AM PISSED.
anyhow, i traded in the new sheets i got for a different color, beige. they match my ralph lauren comforter that roxanna got for me last christmas. and it is pretty sweet now. they are 240 thread count 100% sueded cotton. and the sheets match the two regular and two king size pillow cases, just as soft. so now i have a luxurious bed set up. ooooh i will never be able to get up in the morning! not to mention, robinson's-may's was having a sale, so w/ the trade in for the same sheets, i saved $40!
while at the mall, i knocked over a shelf of computer software at the game store. i was there to buy ethernet cables, and hopefully i don't have to return them cuz i don't ever want to go there again.
we had la salsa, but i have had a lot of troubles eating lately, i get pretty nauseous. so i just had chips and mango salsa. and i was too full after to even finish it.
we just stopped into the disney store, cuz i am a big sucker. they were having a sale, and i ended up buying a little rolling suitcase and backpack for my nephew, w/ buzz lightyear, and they light up! he will look so adorable next time he is running through terminals of LAX. i also got him a matching buzz sweatshirt. all this masculinity will counteract his long locks i hope hehe.
i also got myself a little present. i reserved my copy of 'beauty and the beast,' and it came w/ four lithographs from the movie in a nice plum colored folder. i will have to frame all of this soon! the thing about beauty and the beast - it was pretty much the end of my 'childhood'. i think i was about 11 when that came out, in middle school. i wasn't so into cartoons anymore, at least not the newer ones. that was also about the time i stopped buying barbies and toys. : ( hehe well TOYS toys. i still buy toys i guess... i still watch some movies. i loved 'lilo and stitch,' 'monsters inc.,' and 'the emperor's new groove.' but i mean, i had the COLORING BOOK for beauty and the beast. i was REALLY into that movie (i bought the celine dion cd to get her cover of the theme song), just like i had been into 'the little mermaid' and 'mary poppins,' before i watched my videos so many times they were warbly.
this DVD has the original film, the IMAX version w/ the new scene, and a behind the scenes/sketched footage section, for their NY premiere party.
i can't wait until october 8th..... sigh.
and while i'm there picking up my dvd, i will use my $10 gift certificate (which i got for reserving my copy last night), and maybe get my nephew a halloween costume. i want to get him a big blue sully costume, for monster's inc. that would be SO adorable.... i wish i could just fly back for the night, i always miss trick or treating w/ him. maybe THEY can come HERE! : )
and maybe jake and i will get disney costumes from downtown disney, or the catalogue. we are going to disneyland next weekend anyways! he is my partner in crime, and fortunately has the same deluxe annual pass as me!
